| Girls, Robots, and Digital Cameras |
Director: Richard Law
Running Time: 14' Production Format: 16mm
We're told from a young age that we are all unique and special. To some people that just doesn't make any sense. Michael, Leonard, and Herman all have their own problems to deal with. Heartbreak, parents, and new technology come into play when these three cynics get together and talk with each others families at a local diner. A humorous look at Chinese culture, young relationships, and confused senior citizens. Girls, Robots, and Digital Cameras really does have something for everyone to enjoy.

| Le Matin |
Director: Karen Yasinsky
Running Time: 4' Production Format: 16mm
Le Matin is a drawing animation based on the opening scenes of Jean Vigo's film from 1934 "L'Atalante." Newlyweds journey from the small village church to the barge which will be their home. In redrawing every frame, 12 frames per second, the line never becomes resolved, it wiggles and shimmers and has a tension mirroring the tension of the couple. The ending scene is a surreal, fantastic summation of beauty and difficulty of marriage.
